As a Project Coordinator within the project management team, you will support planning, organization, and execution of project initiatives. You will partner with the project manager to ensure that project activities are on track, deliverables are met, and documentation is properly maintained. You will facilitate communication among team members, schedule meetings, and produce summaries to track project progress. This contract role involves managing various project documents such as budgets, purchase orders, and contracts.
You will contribute to the successful completion of projects by providing administrative support and ensuring seamless coordination across teams.
- Coordinate meetings and develop strategies to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Take minutes at meetings and maintain detailed project documentation.
- Create and update project schedules and responsibility lists for involved stakeholders.
- Track and manage project documents, including budgets, purchase orders, payrolls, and contracts.
- Collaborate closely with the project manager to meet project objectives.
- Support the preparation of presentations and reports for project stakeholders.
- Maintain organized records of project activities and communication.
- Assist in monitoring project timelines and deliverable status to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Skills & Experience:
- 1-3+ years of experience assisting in project planning and coordination.
- Proficiency with workflow or strategy software such as Microsoft Project is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field is a plus.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience working in a corporate environment or within a project management office (PMO).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification.
- Exposure to workflow automation tools or additional project management software.
