Under the supervision of the Manager, Continuous Improvement, the Process Improvement Facilitator is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and enhancing processes within Yaamava' Resort & Casino. This role requires effective communication, expertise in process improvement, and the ability to facilitate collaborative efforts that drive operational excellence and process efficiencies. The Process Improvement Facilitator works closely with leadership teams in various departments to coordinate, implement, and execute process improvement efforts while ensuring consistency with enterprise strategy, commitments, and goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Process Improvement, Lean Six Sigma, or related methodologies is required.
- Related, relevant, and/or direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational requirements indicated above.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
(KSA)
- Demonstrated experience in facilitation of training, projects, or Kaizen events is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in hospitality and/or casino operations is preferred.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint) is required.
- Must have prior working experience with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet and/or comparable project management tools.
- Must have experience demonstrating the utmost discretion and confidentiality as the team member has access to confidential information including, but not limited to guest contact information, guest financial data, and enterprise financial data.
- At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
- Professional certification such as Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred.
Role requires regular commuting between locations. A valid driver's license and vehicle insurance with minimum liability limits is required. Role will not operate or drive Tribe-owned vehicles or patron vehicles.
