Preferred Experience- Five years of employment in either Project Management for a General Contractor, Construction Administration for an Architectural firm, Engineer for an Engineering firm, or Project Management for a public agency.
- Public works project experience
- Ground-up vertical construction experience for projects in excess of $10M
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Administration/Management
- Daily on‑site Client representation
- Contractor oversight
- Quality assurance
- Processing submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and deferred submittals
- Contractor schedule oversight and enforcement
- Cost controls including review and approval of pay applications, change order reviews, and recommendations for approval or rejection.
- Chair weekly OAC meetings and issue meeting minutes
- Utilities coordination
- Special inspections and testing coordination
- SWPPP compliance oversight
- Compliance with environmental mitigation measures
- Client reporting and communication
- Create and hold stakeholder meetings (committees, councils, board of directors)
- Neighborhood relations and outreach
- Assist marketing/business development personnel as needed
- Technical experience in Architecture, Engineering, and/or Construction
- Written communication and organizational skills
- Ability to host, manage, and navigate video conferencing
- Skilled communicator
- Proactive management approach
As a Program and Construction Manager, you will be requested to work on‑site for assigned, active construction projects which may or may not be subject to a one‑hour commute. Employees may be requested to work full time on‑site, or potentially part time from home.
