Engineering - Construction Project Manager

Have you lead capital improvements projects with street construction, storm and sanitary sewers, heavy-highway construction, and building rehabilitation?

What do you need to be considered for this incredible opportunity?

• Graduation from an accredited technical school program or a college or university with an Associates of Technology degree in Civil Technology
  • Six (6) years of directly related work experience may be substituted for formal education as determined by the Department Director.
• Three (3) years of experience in street construction, sanitary sewers or storm sewer construction, heavy highway construction, construction evaluation, material sampling, repair, rehabilitation, or inspection.
• Bonus points if you have certification in specialty areas.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as a part of the position.
• Possess a valid Class B CDL license or obtain within twelve (12) months of start date. (A passing grade on the written portion of the Class A or B CDL exam is required before start date)
• Possess or be able to obtain certification as a Work Zone Safety and Traffic Signal Technician within twelve (12) months of start date.
• Be willing to work snow routes that include 12‑hour shifts during the months of November through March.
• Be able to pass a background investigation and drug and alcohol screenings.

• Lead Construction Projects – Oversee projects from concept to completion, ensuring they stay on schedule and within budget.
• Ensure Quality & Compliance – Inspect contractor work for adherence to standards in street, bridge, sewer, water, and municipal infrastructure projects.
• Manage Costs & Contracts – Estimate project costs, review bids, negotiate change orders, and track budgets.
• Stay Hands‑On – Visit job sites, monitor progress, and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in every phase of construction.

The starting salary is $61,886.90

WORK HOURS: Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm; occasional after hours needed.

WORK LOCATION: In and around the City of Branson, Missouri; this position requires work to be performed onsite.
