Estimator – Residential Construction
We are seeking an experienced Estimator – Residential Construction to support custom and spec home projects through accurate takeoffs, disciplined budgeting, and subcontractor pricing. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented estimator who values accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.

Job PurposeThe Estimator – Residential Construction is responsible for creating accurate project budgets and cost analyses before construction begins, helping ensure smooth execution and controlled costs throughout each build.
Key Responsibilities- Perform detailed takeoffs using Buildertrend and Excel
- Develop and maintain budgets for custom and spec homes
- Review plans, specifications, and site conditions
- Solicit, review, and negotiate subcontractor and vendor pricing
- Price change orders and upgrades
- Compare estimated costs to actual job costs
- Value engineer plans to improve efficiency and cost control
- 3–5 years of residential estimating experience
- Experience with custom and/or spec homes required
- Strong understanding of residential construction materials and methods
- Proficiency in Excel;
Buildertrend experience preferred - Independent, detail-driven work style
- Salary range: $65,000–$75,000
- 401(k) and subsidized health insurance
