Role:
Construction Manager

Position Summary

The Construction Manager is responsible for leading the planning, scheduling, and execution of construction projects to ensure high-quality results are delivered on time and within budget. This role focuses on crew leadership, client communication, quality control, and project oversight.

Responsibilities1. (45%) Manage Construction Operations & Project Execution
  • Lead and oversee daily construction operations and project schedules
  • Provide direction to field supervisors, foremen, and crews
  • Monitor timelines, budgets, labor, materials, and equipment needs
  • Coordinate project scheduling and communicate progress with internal teams
  • Identify and resolve project challenges to keep work on track
2. (25%) Client Communication & Experience
  • Maintain strong communication with clients throughout projects
  • Provide project updates and address client concerns
  • Manage change orders and scope adjustments as needed
3. (15%) Project Tracking & Performance
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, and quality standards
  • Conduct site visits to assess performance and identify issues
  • Communicate project status and risks to leadership
4. (10%) Quality Control & Safety
  • Ensure projects meet company quality and safety standards
  • Identify deficiencies and coordinate corrective actions
  • Coach crews on quality expectations and best practices
5. (5%) Permitting & Coordination
  • Assist with permitting coordination and project documentation
  • Work with internal teams, consultants, and agencies as needed
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of construction or landscape project management experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, and field operations
  • Experience with project management software and Excel preferred
