We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Sr. Project Engineer for Ground Up Healthcare/Commercial Construction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that constructs state-of-the-art healthcare and commercial facilities from the ground up. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in all phases of construction, with a particular focus on healthcare and commercial projects.
The Sr. Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and construction of each project, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
Oversee all phases of healthcare and commercial construction projects from initial planning to completion.Coordinate with architects, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure that all work is carried out according to plan.Review and approve project plans and specifications, ensuring that they meet all necessary codes and regulations.Monitor project progress, making adjustments as necessary to keep the project on schedule and within budget.Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.Prepare and present project reports to senior management and other stakeholders.Participate in the selection and management of construction teams and subcontractors.Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in healthcare and commercial construction, applying this knowledge to improve project outcomes.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.At least 5 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on healthcare and commercial projects.Proven experience in managing large-scale, ground-up construction projects.Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve conflicts and issues quickly and effectively.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.Proficiency in construction management software.Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute their skills and experience to a dynamic and innovative construction company.
