This Entry Level Construction Laborer position in Cameron, LA supports civil and concrete operations in plant or construction jobsite environments. The role involves digging footings, back filling, stripping forms, trenching, site cleanup, and operating hand and power tools. It is suited for individuals capable of performing physically demanding outdoor work while maintaining strong safety awareness and productivity.
What you’ll need:- Ability to perform heavy physical labor
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly (100 lbs occasionally)
- Ability to work in outdoor and adverse weather conditions
- Ability to operate hand and power tools safely
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Ability to climb ladders and scaffolds
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to follow safety procedures
- Experience with concrete formwork and civil site preparation
- Experience operating vibrators, compactors, jackhammers, or chipping guns
- Strong attention to detail and productivity mindset
