Position Overview
Gershenson Construction, a well established and growing heavy highway, bridge, and sewer contractor since 1977, has an immediate opening for a Cement Mason Lead Person for prevailing wage roadwork projects in the St. Louis area. The role offers competitive pay and long-term career growth.
Responsibilities- Supervise crews
- Manage daily schedules
- Coordinate concrete ready-mix
- Strictly enforce safety, quality, and production standards on site
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in roadway construction, concrete paving, and structural concrete work
- Experience working on government‑funded projects (MoDOT, MSD, St. Louis County) is required
- Strong leadership skills to supervise crews and manage schedules
Pre‑employment and random drug testing is required.
