Role DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Construction Estimator for a full-time, on-site position located in Shreveport/Bossier City, Louisiana. The Construction Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and budgets for a variety of construction projects, analyzing project documents, and collaborating with project teams to assess materials and labor requirements. Additional responsibilities include coordinating with subcontractors, identifying potential project challenges, and ensuring efficient cost-control measures are in place.
Qualifications- Proficiency in construction estimation, cost analysis, and budget preparation
- Strong understanding of materials, labor requirements, and industry standards
- Experience in reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and project specifications
- Effective communication and collaboration with clients, vendors, and subcontractors
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills
- Proficiency in construction management software and digital tools
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations, especially in Louisiana or Alabama
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
- Professional certifications such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or equivalent are a plus
- Minimum of 3-5 years of prior experience in construction estimating
