Position: Bilingual Contract Safety Trainer and Administrator
Location: New Florence

Bilingual Contract Safety Trainer and Administrator – New Florence, MO

The individual in this position is responsible for the orientation coordination and training and the use of programs such as Microsoft Office, Hammertech, Pro Core and other Safety Data Software. The safety professional will work directly for the client contractor and report to a safety lead on-site.

Job Qualifications
  • Must be Bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • Must have one or more years’ experience in construction safety.
  • Must have OSHA 30 Construction and current in First Aid & CPR.
  • Must be able to conduct daily and weekly safety trainings.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment and criminal background check.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint), Pro Core, Hammertech, other safety data software.
  • Exceptional planning, time-management, and follow-through.
  • Able to exercise confidentiality and discretion.
  • Ability to review, analyze and discuss safety/risk information or data.
  • Ability to work effectively with a team and independently.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple project tasks and complex situations.

Job Responsibilities
  • Prevent accidents, injuries and claims by fully executing daily new hire orientations.
  • Develop and deliver Safety Training and New Hire Orientations as mandated by Federal, State, Local and Client Programs.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal, State and Client or Project safety regulations, programs, and policies.
  • On occasion, perform job site safety audits on a daily or weekly basis per project demands.
  • Inspire and coach employees to accomplish safety goals.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding injuries and claims.
  • Take a proactive, rather than reactive, approach in claims and injury reduction.
  • Act as the liaison for project drug and alcohol testing.
  • Other duties may be assigned as Client needs dictate and increasing skill level is demonstrated.
