Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to lead and oversee construction projects from pre‑construction planning through final closeout and handover. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.

You will serve as the primary point of accountability for project success, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing risks, and driving continuous improvement in an increasingly complex construction environment that emphasizes sustainability, digital project management tools, and strict safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all phases of assigned projects including planning, design coordination, procurement, construction execution, commissioning, and closeout.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, detailed schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies using modern project management software.
  • Manage project financials, including cost estimating, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, change orders, and value engineering to achieve or exceed profit margins.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and in‑house teams; select qualified subcontractors and negotiate contracts.
  • Ensure full compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, OSHA safety standards, environmental requirements, and all applicable permits and licenses.
  • Conduct regular site visits, progress meetings, and quality inspections to monitor construction progress, workmanship, safety, and adherence to specifications.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; proactively resolve issues, delays, disputes, and emergencies to minimize impact on timeline and budget.
  • Communicate clearly and regularly with clients/owners, architects, engineers, and stakeholders; provide timely status reports, updates, and presentations.
  • Oversee project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, daily logs, punch lists, as‑built drawings, warranties, and O&M manuals.
  • Champion safety culture on‑site; lead safety meetings, enforce protocols, and ensure incident‑free project delivery.
  • Leverage construction management software (e.g., Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Primavera P6) and emerging technologies (BIM, drones, AI scheduling tools) to improve efficiency and decision‑making.
  • Support business development efforts when needed, including bid preparation, client presentations, and scope development for future projects.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • 5–10+ years of progressive experience managing construction projects, with demonstrated success delivering projects $5M–$50M+ in value.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, building codes, and safety regulations (OSHA 30 certification preferred).
  • Proficiency in project management and scheduling software (Procore, MS Project, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites (30% - 40% travel or longer for extended projects).
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP, CCM (Certified Construction Manager), LEED AP, or OSHA 500 certification.
  • Previous experience in industrial, heavy civil, mechanical, or USACE projects preferred.
  • 401(k)
  • 401(k) matching
