Role Responsibilities Health & Safety Operations- Perform weekly EHS walkthroughs to identify hazards, track corrective actions, and support continuous improvement.
- Manage the safety shoe voucher program and Prescription safety glasses program, including employee eligibility and vendor coordination, as well as other PPE programs.
- Support corrective actions timelines.
- Maintain OSHA logs, training records, and safety documentation.
- Assist with ergonomics assessments and workstation evaluations.
- Support EHS improvement projects such as chemical inventory updates, signage improvements, equipment guarding, and safety culture initiatives.
- Track project timelines, deliverables, and communication with cross‑functional teams.
- Assist with contractor safety onboarding and compliance.
- Help implement new EHS systems and programs.
- Coordinate and schedule hazardous waste pickups, ensuring proper labeling, storage, and documentation.
- Maintain waste manifests, profiles, SDS records, and vendor files.
- Conduct weekly inspections of waste storage areas, universal waste stations, and environmental control equipment.
- Support stormwater inspections, spill prevention activities, and recycling/waste reduction initiatives.
- Assist with environmental reporting and compliance tasks as needed.
- Assist with emergency response planning, evacuation drills, and first‑aid/CPR program coordination.
- Conduct routine checks of emergency equipment including AEDs, fire extinguishers, eyewash stations, and spill kits.
- Coordinate hearing conservation activities and audiometric testing schedules.
- Assist with respiratory protection program tasks such as fit‑testing coordination and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in EHS, environmental compliance, industrial safety, or related field.
- Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state/local regulations.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work with employees at all levels.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHS management systems.
