Production Supervisor# Production Supervisor Hot Job Corporate Office - Ballwin, MO 63021## Description The Production Supervisor is a critical role designed for an individual who is preparing to become a Project Manager within our new home construction company. This position involves learning the responsibilities and acquiring theskills necessary to manage home construction projects from start to finish efficiently. The Production Supervisor will work closely with a Project Manager,initially focusing on a single house within a community and gradually taking onmore responsibility as they gain proficiency.

This role supervises assigned production assistant(s).
** Essential Job Functions*
* • Organization of all construction activity, including updating schedules.
• Review job sites to enforce scheduling and the quality of workmanship andensure that the house is delivered to the customer within the time specified and in an acceptable condition established by the company.
• Act professionally and courteously when dealing with coworkers, trade partners, inspectors or homeowners.
• Order, calculate, and schedule delivery (or return) of materials and supplies asneeded.
• Obtain government inspections as needed and represent the company at such inspections.
• Liaison with utility companies regarding installing and activating gas, water,electric, and sewer services.
• Ensure that assigned communities are orderly and that unwanted waste materials are managed appropriately and timely.
• Follow company guidelines on the timeline of construction.
• Ensure weekly calls are made to each homeowner during construction.

Communication with homeowners continues throughout the construction process and warranty period.
• Maintain the appearance of Model and/or Move-In-Ready Homes in assigned communities.
• Provide day to day production supervision and training to production assistants(Laborers), as assigned.
• Supervise construction sites, addressing safety concerns immediately. Ensure that hazards are marked and managed according to guidelines.
• Perform warranty work requested by homeowners within company guidelines.
• Monitor and evaluate construction materials and expenses, ensuring cost control methods are used.
• Ensure all homes under construction are secured, thermostats are set tocompany guidelines, and lights are turned off at the end of each day.
• Develop and nurture trade partner relations to ensure open communication and feedback is exchanged without conflict.

Attend weekly production meetings.## Qualifications
** Requirements:
*** High School diploma or GED
* Construction or related industry experience, preferred
* Previous experience in a production role or similar capacity, preferred
* Valid driver’s license
* Must own a truck suitable for transporting tools and material to various job sites
** Essential Environmental Demands:
*** Generally OUTSIDE environment.
* Generally NOT Air-Conditioned/Heated environment.
* Subject to weather conditions (rain, heat, snow, etc.)
* Background noise is moderate to heavy at times.
* Hazardous environment.
* Environment is not controlled for fumes, dust or odors.
** Essential Physical Demands:
*** Lifting up to 100 pounds.
* Sufficient ability to maneuver safely on job sites confronting rough terrain, trenches, and uncompleted framing and roof structures. Must be able to climb ladders.
* Constant stooping or bending over.
* Overhead as well as horizontal reaching is required.
* Working around heavy equipment, which necessitates the ability to hear warnings, signals, and instructions to ensure safety.
* Visually inspect and approve each phase of construction to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

This position reports directly to the Production Manager or another manager as directed. This job description is not limited to the specific duties and responsibilities as outlined. The employee may be required to perform duties of a similar or comparable nature and/or assist with projects or assignments as required.
