As a
** Project Engineer
** at Perini Management Services, reporting to the
** Project Manager,
** you will have the opportunity to:
*
* Description:

**** Project Planning & Coordination:
*** Collaborate with architects and engineers throughout all phases of construction, including pre-construction/design phases.
* Assist in developing project budgets, timelines, and procurement plans.
* Review and manage design documents for constructability and distribution to client & subcontractors.
** Construction Management:
*** Assist with developing and maintaining the project schedule, including monthly updates, and progress tracking.
* Process change orders and manage scope changes between the client, subcontractors, and designers.
* Assist in securing vendors and subcontractors.
* Monitor costs and assist with budget management.
* Identify and mitigate project risks.
* Coordinate with the owner and security officers for base access and ensure proper clearance.
** Construction Oversight:
*** Support and oversee day-to-day construction activities to ensure alignment with plans and specifications.
* Assist in monitoring worksite safety and ensure compliance with safety standards.
* Assist in the coordination of subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials and services.
** Documentation & Reporting:
*** Documenting and Coordinating meetings, tracking actions, and decisions.
* Manage submittals and RFIs.
* Support QC inspections and ensure project quality standards are maintained.
** Requirements:
*** Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management Related degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent competency achieved through relevant work experience.
* Work Experience as Construction Project Engineer or Project Manager.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and strong computer literacy.
* Proficiency with Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and Procore
* Willing to travel and relocate near the project location.
* Ability to obtain an Employer-Sponsored U.S. Government Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship
