Position Summary:

Stone Constructionisseekingaskilledandmotivated Light Equipment Operatorwithaminimumof1yearofexperienceinoperatinglight -duty equipment,including front-end loaders,skid steers,water trucks,tractors,and rollers.

Theidealcandidatewillhaveabasicunderstandingofsiteelevationsandtheabilitytobetrainedinestablishingandmaintaininggrade.

The Light Equipment Operatorwillalsoperformgenerallabordutiesasassignedbytheirsupervisor .

Job Responsibilities &Related

Skills:

Operate front-end loaders,rubber-tired backhoes,andoff-roaddumptrucks(ADT) toreceiveanddumploadsofborroworaggregateindesignatedlocations.
Useskidsteersandsimilarlight-dutybucketedequipmenttospreadandleveldirtandgravel.
Operate off-roadwatertrucks,rollers,andcompactorstoachievespecifiedcompaction.
Workonavarietyofconstructionsettings,includingcommercialsitedevelopment,subsurfaceutilitiesinstallation,aggregateandminingoperations,heavyhighwayconstruction,andindustrialsettings.
Participateinscopesofworksuchasmassexcavation,embankment&grading,largediameterpipeinstallation,utility probing,drainage establishment,andstockpilingmaterials.
Conductdailyinspectionsandminormaintenanceonexcavators,dozers,front-end loaders,packers,andothernecessarytools.
Performpre-andpost-inspectionsofequipmenttoensurefunctionalityandsafety.
Completeassignmentsasdirectedandadapttositeresponsibilitiesasneeded.
Collaboratewithteammemberstoassistinvariousrolesonthesite,demonstratingateamwork-oriented attitude.
Engageingenerallaborduties,includingstrenuousmanuallaborinheavyconstructionprojects.
Maintainacleanjobsitebysecuringtoolsandequipment,contributingtoasafeworkingenvironment.
Adheretosafetyproceduresandincidentreporting,communicatingissuestotheforeman,safety director,orHRmanager.
