Under direction of the Construction Supervisor II, Water Resources, the incumbent performs difficult construction oversight work which involves continuous construction inspection, supervision, coordination of contract activities and employing of Partnering concepts to ensure an efficient operating relationship between the Department and construction contractors on assigned construction projects for the Oroville Project Headquarters (OPH) and the State Water Project (SWP).

We are looking for candidates with high level experience with civil quality control inspections, including excavation; soils testing; backfill compaction; concrete forms; reinforcing bar; concrete placement; concrete curing and engineered features, on heavy civil projects including, pumping plants, power plants, aqueducts, pipelines, levees, bypasses, dams, roads, buildings, and other similar structures for the State Water Project.
