New Home Construction Assistant

Strengths:

• -Ability to follow orders and take direction
• -Able to perform basic construction tasks. (use of drills, hammers, shovels, drywall patching, painting, sawing, caulking, cleaning,)
• -reliable vehicle to get to work on time with clean driving record
• -ability to drive skid steers and pull trailers
• -high school diploma or GED
• -construction experience preferred (pay based on experience).

Hours:

• 7am
  -3:30pm Mon-Fri
• Monday Morning meeting at the office at 7am.
• Weekend work may be required or notice will be given ahead of time.
• Emergencies as needed.

Role:

• To follow a weekly schedule and complete construction tasks in a safe, efficient manner to company standards. Communicating with supers any issues and ensuring all work is completed to GKLLC standards.
• Construction Tasks required
• Install construction door locks
• Mowing and weed eating subdivisions
• Rough grading yards
• Moving materials to/from jobsite
• Rough carpentry list, tape tubs
• Caulk porch stoop, stone boards
• Jobsite cleanup
• Carpet, trim, and counter top protection
• Ability to drive skid steer and operate machinery
• Take trash to the dump
• Communications/Team Meetings
• Daily communications with supers on issues, tasks, and time to complete.

• Post daily logs every job every day that you work on.
