** Job Overview:
** The Project Scheduler will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules for heavy civil construction projects in Louisiana, ensuring timely and efficient project delivery.

Job Responsibilities:

*
* * Develop detailed project schedules, including resource loading and critical path analysis, using Primavera P6.

* Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and other stakeholders to gather schedule input and ensure alignment.

* Monitor project progress against the baseline schedule, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.

* Prepare and submit regular schedule updates and reports to project teams and management.

* Conduct  what-if  scenarios and analyze potential impacts of changes to project scope, resources, or timelines.

* Facilitate schedule review meetings and communicate schedule status and issues effectively.

* Develop and maintain project progress curves, histograms, and other schedule-related metrics.

* Ensure compliance with project specifications, company standards, and industry best practices for scheduling.

* Assist in the development of project recovery plans when necessary.

* Support claims analysis and dispute resolution with accurate schedule data.

Job Qualifications:

*
* * Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Project Scheduler in heavy civil construction.

* Proficient in Primavera P6.

* Strong understanding of construction project life cycles, methodologies, and terminology.

* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

* Experience with Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) projects preferred.  #LI-KG1
