Overview
The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for creating content and executing marketing projects for AORUS North America social media platforms. Job functions include project planning, content production, community engagement, tracking analytics. This position provides opportunities to work with various tech products, such as PC components, peripherals, monitors, and laptops. An intermediate understanding of various social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, X, Tik Tok, Discord, and You Tube is a plus.
This is a highly collaborative position that works closely with the other marketing departments, central branding teams, content production teams, and external creators/brands.
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm, conceptualize, and plan video and photo projects from concept to completion. Implement strategies to increase engagement, audience interaction, and followers on all platforms.
- Organize social media calendar and schedule posts on company social media platforms with appropriate descriptions, tags, and other metadata. Ensure content and online engagement adheres to brand guidelines and quality.
- Monitor company platforms for user comments, customer feedback, and engagement opportunities. Implement strategies to deploy timely and relevant responses.
- Assist content production team in capturing high-quality photos and videos, including setting up the studio and operating cameras, to create visually appealing branded content.
- Assist content production team in post-production to edit photo and video content into polished, ready-to-post assets using industry-standard software.
- Assist in project management for influencer campaigns, sponsorship projects, livestream events, and physical gaming events.
- Conduct research to stay updated on popular trends, competitor activities, and optimal SEO practices. Monitor social media analytics across company platforms and provide reports on post performance, profile insights, and other project KPI.
- Experience with social media management, monitoring, and analytical tools, including but not limited to Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, Tik Tok Business Manager, Gleam, Rebrandly, and Google Analytics.
- Experience with managing a public-facing social media account and fostering a community.
- Experience in photography and/or videography with solid knowledge of camera operation, lighting techniques, and composition.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suites and Capcut for light photo and video editing.
- Organizational and time-management skills for handling multiple projects.
- Ability to thrive in a team orientated and fast paced environment.
- Creative mindset with a strong focus on storytelling, branding, and visual composition.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting.
- Intermediate understanding of PC hardware and consumer electronics is a plus.
- Active understanding of current tech culture and gaming industry news is a plus.
