You should possess the ability to work independently to initiate new creative ideas and lead a team to see your vision through. Writing, producing, and editing skills are strictly required. • Responsible for writing, editing, and shooting news promotion for broadcast and digital platforms.
• Primary duties will include producing non-topical spots, including image, sweeps, POPs, and station event promos.
• Other duties will include event planning and participation, shooting or assisting on promotion shoots, scheduling of spots, and helping develop a high-level creative staff.

• B. S. in Film, Television, Marketing, Advertising, or Broadcasting.
• Minimum three years of experience in promotion at a TV station.
• Proven ability to write promotional copy for TV, with excellent editing & post production skills.
• The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be highly collaborative.
