Job Summary
Join the award-winning creative team at KMOV! We are looking for someone experienced in leading creative projects, capable of working independently to initiate new creative ideas and guiding a team through to realization. Writing, producing, and editing skills are strictly required, with an ability to look forward and support the branding and promotion of multiple successful content platforms.
Responsibilities- Write, edit, and shoot news promotion for broadcast and digital platforms.
- Produce non-topical spots, including image, sweeps, POPs, and station event promos.
- Plan and participate in events; shoot or assist on promotion shoots.
- Schedule spots and help develop a high-level creative staff.
- B.S. in Film, Television, Marketing, Advertising, or Broadcasting.
- Minimum three years of promotion experience at a TV station.
- Proven ability to write promotional copy for TV, with excellent editing and post-production skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to be highly collaborative.
- Sports marketing experience is a plus.
