DUTCH Web Copywriter

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Dutch-speaking Web Copywriter to join a well-established digital communication team working on large-scale institutional and public-facing digital platforms.

You will become part of a team of experienced copywriters who collaborate closely to produce clear, engaging and user-friendly digital content. The environment is highly collaborative, with copywriters working alongside webmasters, digital experts and business stakeholders to ensure content meets both user needs and business objectives.

As a Senior Web Copywriter, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining digital content across multiple platforms and websites. Your work will include:

• Writing and reviewing website content and landing pages
• Creating news articles, FAQs, alerts and online publications
• Producing user manuals and usage guides
• Drafting editorial guidelines and writing standards
• Adapting content for different audiences while maintaining a consistent tone of voice
• Translating complex legal or technical information into clear, accessible language
• Optimising content for both search engines (SEO) and AI-powered search experiences (GEO)
• Structuring content in a way that improves discoverability, including question-based content where appropriate
• Publishing and maintaining content within CMS platforms
• Working closely with business stakeholders to understand communication needs
• Collaborating with webmasters and digital teams throughout the content lifecycle

We're looking for someone who combines excellent writing skills with strong communication abilities.

• Native Dutch speaker (mandatory)
• Several years of experience as a Web Copywriter or Digital Content Writer
• Strong understanding of digital communication
• Experience writing for websites and online platforms
• Excellent ability to simplify complex or technical information for a broad audience
• Comfortable interacting directly with business stakeholders
• Experience working with CMS platforms
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, including Track Changes
• Good understanding of SEO best practices
• Interest in emerging AI search optimisation (GEO) and AI-assisted content creation
• Comfortable working in a structured environment with established editorial processes

• Experience in institutional, public sector or highly regulated environments
• Familiarity with IT terminology and digital projects
• Experience defining editorial guidelines or content governance
