Managing Technical Consultant, Visual Simulation

• Support clients and projects in electric transmission, renewables, and extractive industries
• Develop technically defensible 3D visual simulations of proposed projects
• Create VR 360-degree simulations and interactive 3D environments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to communicate complex engineering and environmental concepts
• Contribute to innovation and development of ERM's visualization capabilities and products
• Prepare 3D models, renderings, photomontages, visual simulations, and animations for regulatory, licensing, and public outreach applications
• Utilize advanced hardware and software to communicate civil and infrastructure designs to public audiences
• Maintain technical and visual quality standards and meet client and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with project teams, technical specialists, and visualization colleagues from concept through final delivery

• Minimum of 3-4 years of professional experience in a related AEC field
• Practical experience preparing 3D visualizations, 3D modeling, and 3D simulations
• Demonstrated proficiency with Autodesk 3D Studio Max, including modeling, texturing, lighting, and basic animation
• Experience with Chaos V-Ray, particularly real-time GPU rendering
• Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe In Design
• Ability to work effectively under tight project deadlines independently and collaboratively
• Passion for innovation within the 3D visualization industry and commitment to continuously improving work quality
• Ability to provide samples of previous work through a portfolio website, cloud drive, or other accessible platform
• Must not require immigration sponsorship
• Preferred: experience with LiDAR and point cloud datasets
• Preferred: experience with Forest Pack Pro, Rail Clone, or similar scattering and optimization tools
• Preferred: experience with ArcGIS and/or Global Mapper
• Preferred: experience with Autodesk Civil 3D
• Preferred: experience with Google Earth Pro
• Preferred: experience with additional Adobe Creative Suite products, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Illustrator
• Preferred: experience with Blender
• Preferred: experience with Chaos Vantage
• Preferred: experience with Unreal Engine or Unity for real-time interactive environments

Demonstrates expertise in 3D visualization, modeling, and simulation, utilizing advanced software and hardware to create impactful visual representations for engineering and environmental projects. Collaborates effectively with multidisciplinary teams to meet client and regulatory standards while innovating within the 3D visualization industry.
