The Videographer & Social Media Creative is a full-time, hybrid role based in California, United States. This role is responsible for planning, shooting, and editing video content that showcases Zebra Brand Foods' products, brand story, and campaigns across all social and digital platforms.
Day-to-day tasks include operating cameras and lighting equipment, capturing high-quality footage in studio and on location, and editing videos into short-form and long-form content optimized for Instagram, Tik Tok, You Tube, Facebook, and other emerging platforms. A key part of the role is developing creative, engaging ways to bring team members from across the company into the content, making Zebra's people a visible part of the brand story.
The role will work closely with the C-suite team on content creation, capturing leadership perspectives, founder-led storytelling, and behind-the-scenes moments that give the brand a personal, authentic voice. The role also involves collaborating with marketing and brand teams to develop creative concepts, storyboards, and content calendars, as well as assisting with on-set direction, product styling, and basic audio capture.
The Videographer & Social Media Creative will also work directly with UGC and ambassador creators whenever events or shoots require their involvement, coordinating production and ensuring content aligns with brand standards. Travel is a regular component of the role, including trips both within the United States and internationally for shoots, events, and campaigns.
Candidates should bring a high level of videography and editing capability, along with a strong pulse on current visual and platform trends, using those insights to shape both the content and the ideas behind it in order to reach and grow a wider audience. The role is expected to stay current with platform best practices and analytics insights to continuously improve engagement and brand impact.
Qualifications- Advanced video production skills, including planning shoots and managing the full production workflow from concept through final delivery.
- Proficiency in camera operation and use of professional camera equipment across a range of shoot types.
- Knowledge of lighting techniques and practical setup for studio and on-location video.
- Experience shooting video for social media, marketing campaigns, and product-focused content.
- High-level video editing skills using common post-production tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, current content trends, and basic analytics for performance evaluation.
- Ability to develop creative concepts that incorporate team members and brand personalities into content in fun, authentic ways.
- Comfort and professionalism working directly with senior leadership and C-suite executives on camera and in planning sessions.
- Experience working with UGC creators, ambassadors, or influencers on shoots and events.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate creative ideas clearly.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Portfolio or reel demonstrating relevant videography and social media content work.
- Education or training in film, media, communications, or a related field is beneficial but not required.
