Job Summary

The Video Production coordinator supports daily production efforts for D1 athletics broadcasts, in-house and remote operations, and participates in all aspects of multi-camera production as a producer/director.

Job Responsibilities and Execution

• Works with the Director of Operations and Engineering, Sports Production Manager, and Production Manager, and Broadcast Operations Specialist to ensure that all pre-production concerns (e.g., scheduling, staffing, and production elements) have been appropriately addressed prior to shoots
• Supports content readiness for academic and athletic productions
• Supports live multi-camera productions, such as athletics broadcasts, in accordance with supplied scripts/rundowns
• Occupies control room roles (e.g., technical director, audio, and camera shading) as needed
• Assists in training student operators in control room and field during live broadcasts

Required Qualifications – An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered. Additional requirements may be designated by position.

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications with emphasis in broadcast communications or a related field.
