As a Customer Account Representative at Trash Rangers, you will play a crucial role in our customer service team. You will handle routine residential and commercial customer calls, inquiries, requests, and questions. These interactions typically require limited research and investigation to reach a resolution.

Your primary responsibility is to ensure superior customer service is delivered promptly, respectfully, and courteously, addressing and resolving customer concerns effectively.

• Assist existing commercial and residential customers in resolving issues.
• Establish customer accounts by negotiating and documenting service type, pricing, billing, and other required information.
• Enter customer information, set up service, and collect payments for new customers using our software.
• Maintain customer retention by delivering high-level customer service and offering alternatives to cancellation requests.
• Understand customer needs, issues, and requests.
• Identify opportunities to cross‑sell additional products and services.
• Interact with customers and Trash Rangers employees to determine service requirements, resolve complaints, and escalate more complex issues as needed.
• Advocate for customers by solving problems on their behalf and engaging the appropriate departments and people within Trash Rangers.
• Support other service lines when required.
• Complete cross‑training with other departments, including Operations, Sales, and Billing.
• Strive to meet or exceed service and operational goals, including productivity, quality, and timeliness.

This position operates in a typical office setting.

• Ability to handle a high volume of calls professionally and efficiently
• Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and strong typing skills
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• Ability to perform well under pressure and treat others with respect
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a timely resolution approach
• Ability to prioritize and plan work activities
• Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
• Adaptability to frequent changes in the work environment and ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations promptly
• High School diploma or GED
• Previous experience in customer service roles
