PositionAs a Customer Service Employee
, you are responsible for delivering excellent service to both new and existing customers, as well as to the internal sales teams. You work in a goal‑oriented and customer‑focused way, ensuring smooth order processing and effective communication between the various steps in the sales process.
- Accurately entering and following up on customer orders in the ERP system to ensure timely and correct deliveries.
- Providing up-to-date information on product availability and delivery times.
- Proactively analysing reports (including blocked orders and stock reservations) to identify potential issues at an early stage.
- Coordinating with transport partners to ensure punctual deliveries.
- Coordinating customer‑specific productions in collaboration with Supply Chain and Logistics.
- Maintaining active contact with the sales team regarding ongoing projects and new commercial opportunities.
- Increasing customer value through cross‑selling, up‑selling and add‑on sales.
- Advising customers on products, specifications and benefits to enhance customer satisfaction and sales opportunities.
- Adhering to company procedures in line with the security and quality management system.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer‑focused internal sales or service role.
- Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written – both mandatory.
- Accurate in administration and data entry.
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Strong communication skills, both by phone and in writing.
- Knowledge and experience with ERP systems.
