Customer Support Specialist I – HYBRID
Location: Lafayette, CO
Revvity, a division of Horizon Discovery, is a leading provider of translational genomics research tools. We are recruiting for a Customer Support Specialist to join our team in Lafayette, CO.
Key Responsibilities- Work with the commercial team to support processing orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Update and maintain sales data and information within the appropriate software systems.
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences in a timely manner through effective communication and responsiveness for both internal and external customers.
- Contribute to the development of the ordering process to ensure Horizon continues to provide an excellent customer experience.
- Develop basic product knowledge and a strong understanding of shipping requirements by building strong relationships with shipping and logistics.
- Follow procedures set down in the SOP’s for accurate and timely entry of all orders.
- Work as part of a team and adopt a flexible approach to increase and maintain the quality of service.
- Undertake relevant project work and additional responsibilities as appropriate and agreed with the Head of Customer Services.
- High School diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of experience in a customer service role.
- 2+ years working with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working in the life science industry.
- Experience with a customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross‑functional and cross‑country team environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
The base salary range for this full‑time position is $45,000–53,000. The actual base pay offered will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
