Job Description
Ross Lopez - State Farm Agency, located in Brentwood, CA is currently looking for a talented, caring, professional to join our team as a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Customer Service Representative.
If you have a talent for customer care and understand the needs and motivations of people, we want you on our team! As our Customer Service Representative, youll work to inspire customer loyalty and significantly enhance the overall State Farm Insurance customer experience.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:- Answer phones and greet clients
- Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification
- Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options

Compensation: $14-$17 per hour (based on experience and insurance licenses)
Requirements:- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
- Self-motivated
- Detail oriented
- Proactive in problem solving
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to assess customer needs and conduct effective interviews
- Ability to effectively relate to a customer
- Property Casualty license (must be able to obtain)
- Life and Health license (must be able to obtain)
This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs.
