Benefit Service Center Associate - West Coast

Our Benefit Service Center team plays a vital role in helping employees understand their benefit options and resolving coverage questions quickly and effectively.
We’re looking for a Benefit Service Center Associate based in the Pacific Time Zone, including California and other West Coast locations
, who is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and thrives in a call center environment.
This position is specifically intended to support our West Coast clients and employees during Pacific Time business hours
. Candidates must be located in, or able to consistently work according to, the Pacific Time Zone.

What You’ll Do- Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to employees regarding their benefit questions
- Provide Benefit Service Center coverage during designated Pacific Time business hours
- Investigate and respond to employee inquiries about coverage, claims, and plan options
- Create, manage, and track service tickets in our internal systems
- Communicate with insurance carriers to resolve employee concerns
- Provide professional, courteous service to clients, employees, brokers, carriers, and internal team members
- Maintain employee confidentiality and adhere to data privacy and security standards
- Support additional administrative or service-related duties as needed
- Located in the Pacific Time Zone or able to consistently work Pacific Time business hours
- Previous customer service or call center experience preferred
- Experience in insurance, employee benefits, or worksite benefits is strongly preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple inquiries and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and a genuine desire to help others

- Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Health and Life Insurance License is required
- Experience in a call center and/or worksite benefits is required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including active listening
- Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment while maintaining consistent availability during Pacific Time business hours
- Bilingual skills are a plus
