Patient Service Agent

• Schedule patient appointments and take patient messages
• Provide general information regarding visit instructions and expectations
• Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls
• Assist patients with MyMercy scheduling and general inquiries
• Identify patient needs, provide accurate information, resolve issues, and escape when necessary
• Document call details in the EMR according to established procedures
• Deliver compassionate, high-quality service
• Build positive patient relationships and contribute to team performance goals
• Support the organizational mission and complete additional duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Customer Service experience
• Basic computer skills
• Data Entry
• Professional, courteous, and compassionate attitude
• Ability to multi-task
• Typing speed of 60 wpm
• Ability to follow HIPAA guidelines and call center scripts

Demonstrates strong customer service skills with the ability to manage high-volume calls and effectively assist patients with scheduling and inquiries. Proficient in data entry and maintaining compliance with HIPAA guidelines while delivering compassionate service.
