Treatment Coordinator

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our team! This role is a key part of our front office, where you will help patients understand their treatment options, coordinate care, and support the office with receptionist and insurance tasks.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday through Friday

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in/out patients with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Present treatment plans clearly, review financial options, and assist patients with scheduling
• Perform insurance verification, eligibility checks, and research coverage as needed
• Accurately enter and update patient information in the practice management system
• Collect payments, manage balances, and process claims
• Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and provide excellent patient service
• Support office operations with additional administrative/receptionist duties as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree is preferred)
• 2+ years of previous dental office, healthcare, or customer service is highly preferred
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, insurance, and billing processes is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to present treatment plans and discuss financial arrangements confidently
• Comfortable with scheduling, insurance verification, and payment processing
• Compassionate and patient-focused with a professional, friendly demeanor
• Team player with problem-solving skills and a positive attitude
• Proficiency with dental software systems is a bonus (ie, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar)
