Job DescriptionAs a Dentist Anesthesiologist (DA) you will play a pivotal role in delivering safe and comfortable dental experiences for our patients. You will work closely with pediatric and general dentists, as well as support staff, applying your expertise in dental anesthesia to enhance the quality of care within our offices.
Responsibilities- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing dental procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the treatment.
- Collaborate with pediatric and general dentists to develop personalized anesthesia plans tailored to each patient.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia administration, assessing vital signs and responding to any complications or emergencies.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to anesthesia administration.
- Educate patients and families on pre‑operative and post‑operative care instructions.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay current with advances in dental anesthesia.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by engaging with colleagues and participating in team meetings and trainings.
- Adhere to all regulatory and safety guidelines related to anesthesia administration and dental procedures.
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Dental Anesthesia Specialty Certificate demonstrating specialized training and expertise.
- State licensure and certification to practice as a Dentist Anesthesiologist.
- Strong clinical skills and proficiency in administering anesthesia in a dental setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
