Premier Dental Partners - South County/Fenton is looking for an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join our team.

As an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant, you will help provide effective and trustworthy dental services, support patient comfort, listen to patient needs, educate patients on procedures, manage clinical supplies, help maintain the dentist’s schedule, and adhere to OSHA and company safety policies.

Responsibilities- Organize and maintain lab equipment
- Take and develop X-rays
- Provide comprehensive post-operative dental procedures to patients
- Join a collaborative team to support patient care and office operations
- Take and record medical and dental histories and patient vitals
- Assist the dentist in managing dental emergencies
- Continue professional development through education and training opportunities offered by Heartland Dental
- Join an 8-person team that thrives on collaboration, communication, and community
- Hours:
Monday–Thursday 6:30 am–4:00 pm;
Fridays as needed
- Positive and outgoing personality with exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Excellent patient care and strong organizational abilities
- Superior knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Good manual dexterity
- Computer proficiency and ability to learn new programs
- Ability to travel at least once every other month for training (overnight occasionally)
- Dental assisting school certificate is a plus
- Previous experience in a dental practice is a plus

As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided.
