Role Overview: A Dental Hygienist is responsible for providing preventive dental care, patient education, and maintaining oral health in a collaborative practice.
Key Responsibilities: Performing recare and new patient appointments, utilizing digital tools like Velscope and digital x-rays, and supporting patient screenings and medical history documentation.
Qualifications & Skills: Current Missouri dental hygienist license, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene, CPR certification, and knowledge of dental procedures. Experience with digital scanners, Diagnodent, electronic records, and a desire to grow clinical skills is preferred.
Physical & Other Requirements: Ability to perform essential duties, lift up to 45 pounds, sit/stand for extended periods, and attend training sessions. A TB test is required prior to employment.
