As a Dental Assistant at Love To Smile, you are the steady, reassuring presence next to the doctor and the friendly face patients remember. You support the doctor chairside, take digital x-rays and scans, and keep each appointment moving smoothly so patients feel cared for from the moment they sit down. This is a hands‑on role for someone who loves people, notices the little details, and takes real pride in helping others leave with a healthier, happier smile.

• Assist the doctor chairside during procedures, anticipating needs and keeping treatment moving smoothly
• Help patients feel comfortable and calm, explaining what to expect and easing any nerves along the way
• Take clear digital x-rays and intraoral scans, and prepare accurate records for the doctor to review
• Set up, break down, and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms to keep everything clean and ready
• Keep the daily schedule flowing by preparing rooms, restocking supplies, and staying a step ahead
• Support strong infection control and follow all safety and OSHA guidelines with care and consistency
• Communicate warmly with patients, families, and teammates so everyone stays informed and at ease
• Help patients understand their home care and next steps before they leave the chair

• A Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification or solid hands‑on chairside experience
• A warm, patient‑first attitude and a genuine care for helping people feel comfortable
• Steady hands, sharp attention to detail, and a calm presence during procedures
• Comfort with digital x-rays, intraoral scanners, and modern dental technology, or the eagerness to learn
• Strong organization and the ability to keep a busy day running on time
• A reliable, team‑first spirit and clear, friendly communication
• A commitment to cleanliness, safety, and doing careful, quality work every day
• Flexibility to support our Overland Park and Peculiar offices as needed
