The Children's Clinic, Serving Children and Their Families is a non-profit community clinic (FQHC) serving low-income patients of all ages at thirteen sites and a mobile van in Long Beach. We are seeking Dentists who are mission driven and committed to serving the community.

Job Summary:
Performs professional general dental care in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice dentistry in the California
• Graduate of a formal accredited school of dentistry
• FQHC experience preferred
• Working knowledge of the diagnosis and treatment of dental and oral diseases
• Working knowledge of the principles, standard practices methods, and techniques of dentistry
• Working knowledge of preventive dentistry and educational methodologies utilized in prevention
• Skill in oral operative techniques
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and staff
• Computer skills with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, internet, and Practice Management Systems
• Ability to problem solve and prioritize tasks
• Proven reliability, trustworthiness, flexibility, and high ethical standards
• Ability to handle multiple tasks
• Interest in working with diverse ethnic groups
• Demonstrated ability to treat all individuals with respect, empathy and compassion
