Compensation and Benefits
Compensation for this position is expected to range between $24.50 and $26.50 per hour
, aligning with California Baptist University’s (CBU) anticipated pay. The final rate may vary depending on qualifications, experience and market conditions. CBU provides a comprehensive and generous benefits package to eligible employees.
Provides administrative and facilitative support for daily simulation‑based learning activities and technical functions within the College of Nursing Learning Environment, under the direction of the Director of Simulation and Standardized Patient Program and Associate Dean of Learning Environment & Innovation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Collaborate in the development of simulation‑based instructional and training components for faculty, students, and standardized patients.
- Engage in innovative initiatives to enhance learning experiences, including piloting new technologies, tools, and creative solutions.
- Prepare simulation equipment and other learning technologies to support learning activities.
- Manage the maintenance of simulation technology and equipment.
- Provide training and orientation of new simulation technicians.
- Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues within the learning environment, escalating complex issues to appropriate personnel.
- Stay current with emerging simulation and learning environment technologies, suggesting improvements or new opportunities for growth.
- Maintain simulation equipment and departmental records.
- Other duties as assigned.
This position is responsible for assigning work and/or giving direction to office staff and student workers, in order to complete work assignments.

- Ability to maintain an inventory check system.
