Engineering Process Technician

Job Overview

Onsite Semiconductor Engineering Process Technician needed for an 18‑month contract to hire role with YOH's client based in Santa Clara, California.

Work location:

Santa Clara, California.

Shift: Mon – Friday 8‑hour night shift (midnight to 8 AM);
Friday – Sunday 12‑hour night shift (midnight to 12 PM).

Pay rate: $32 – $37 per hour.
Note: Any pay ranges displayed are estimations. Actual pay is determined by an applicant's experience, technical expertise, and other qualifications as listed in the job description.

Experience:

0 – 2 years.

• Supporting Clean Room Metrology Lab operations
• Coordinating with engineering on sample priorities
• Mounting, dismounting, cleaning, and handling customer samples – coupons and wafers
• Tracking and maintaining order of incoming jobs and their execution
• Operating laboratory process equipment and instrumentation
• Executing metrology jobs using developed BKMs and available recipes on SEM metrology tools
• Performing analysis of metrology images with proprietary algorithms and software, using predefined recipes
• Preparing reports according to predefined templates
• Interfacing with requestors to understand detailed requirements and communicating results; helping the lab monitor wafer in process (WIP) and maintain throughput
• Interfacing with HW team for troubleshooting and executing tool maintenance

• College degree in Materials, Electrical, Chemistry Engineering, or a related field
• Basic data analytics skills
• Hands‑on ability for lab operations, including sample handling and equipment operations
• Team player
• Semiconductor experience is nice to have, but not a must
• 0–2 years of experience
