Job Overview

Senior Footwear Designer for a new footwear brand. Lead product planning, design direction, and material selection to create lightweight, comfortable, and stylish shoes for 20‑40 year‑olds.

• Lead expertise in footwear materials and structure (leather, synthetic leather, textiles, insole, outsole, cushioning).
• Design and drive last, sole structure, cushioning system, and material combination to meet comfort and aesthetic goals.
• Create and manage technical specification documents (Tech Packs) and conduct quality checks on fit, comfort, weight, and finish.
• Analyze market trends and design patterns; plan seasonal collections for both women's and men's lines.
• Make product and design decisions based on data and intuition.

• 5+ years in the footwear category (design, product planning, or development).
• Deep knowledge of footwear materials and design.
• Experience with leather, synthetic materials, cushioning systems, last, sole design; ability to improve comfort.
• Ability to create lightweight, comfortable, and stylish designs.
• Product planning sense that can assess market demand using data and intuition.
• Experience with various shoe structures (flats, sandals, boots, sneakers, loafers) and both genders.
• Self‑driven and capable of managing projects from start to finish independently.

• Experience in comfort shoe categories (comfortable shoes, sneakers, walking shoes).
• Experience developing stylish shoes for 20‑40 year‑olds.
• Background in luxury or high‑end brand, or start‑up brand/new venture from 0‑to‑1.
• OD / OEM collaboration experience.
• Data‑based decision‑making skills.

• Type:
  Full‑time (regular).
• Hours:
  
  Monday – Friday; office hours 8:30 – 9:00 a.m.; 8‑hour shift; 1‑hour lunch.
