Physician Assistant

Willis Knighton Health is seeking a full‑time Advanced Practitioner (NP/PA) to join the busy Urology practice at WK Pierremont, located in Shreveport, LA.

The role is a full‑time outpatient position with the physician and is responsible for caring for acute, chronically ill, or injured patients. Responsibilities will vary depending on specialty.

• Works under direction and in consultation/collaboration with a physician and may perform services authorized by the supervising/collaborating physician that are part of the physician's normal course of practice and expertise.
• Promotes quality outcomes and initiatives.
• Has a Supervision Agreement (SA) or Collaborative Practice Arrangement (CPA) with a physician in a similar practice.
• Practices within applicable state laws, appropriate boards, and in accordance with the SA/CPA and delineations of privileges.

• AANP – American Association of Nurse Practitioners – Certification Board (APRN)
• State of Louisiana Board of Nursing license (APRN)
• NCCPA – National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (PA)
• National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (PA certification)

• This position is 50% ambulatory clinic and 50% hospital‑based.
