Locum Physician - OB Hospitalist – Osage Beach, MO

Join our esteemed healthcare team as a Locum Physician specializing as an OB Hospitalist and make a meaningful impact on patient care in a vibrant community. This is an exceptional opportunity to provide critical obstetric and gynecological services in a fast-paced hospital setting, ensuring the highest standard of care for women during their most important moments. Your expertise will support hospital-employed CNMs and APCs, covering diverse OB needs including triage, emergency gynecology, and deliveries, with an emphasis on delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Required Skills:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Active and unrestricted medical license in Missouri
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Proven experience in obstetrics, including deliveries and gynecological emergencies
• Ability to handle high patient encounters efficiently (13+ per day)
• Proficiency with Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work 24-hour shifts safely and effectively

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience in hospitalist obstetrics
• Proficiency in managing OB triage and emergency cases
• Experience working with CNMs and APCs
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in obstetrics and gynecology
• Prior locum or hospitalist experience is advantageous

Other Requirements:

• Availability to start on 12/31/2025
• Ability to work a 24-hour shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
• Willingness to participate in on-call duties and hospital coverage
• Must have or obtain appropriate state licensure and certifications
• Travel and licensure reimbursements available as applicable

Compensation for this role is $195.00 per hour, with weekly pay via direct deposit.
