Position Overview: We are seeking dedicated physicians to join a dynamic team at state-of-the-art urgent care centers near Tebbetts, MO. This locum tenens role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages in a well-supported outpatient setting.

Job Details:

• Specialties Required:

  • Family Medicine
  • Emergency Medicine
  • Med/Peds (Internal Medicine & Pediatrics)

• Certification Requirements:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) through ABMS or AOB.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

• Responsibilities Include:

  • Treating patients aged 6 months and older for various urgent care needs.
  • Performing minor procedures such as suturing, wound care, I&Ds, splinting, and placing IVs.
  • Over reading EKGs and X-rays.

• Shift Details:

  • Clinics operate from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM (Monday Friday) and 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Saturday Sunday).
  • 12-hour shifts during weekdays; potential for 12-hour shifts on weekends.
  • Up to 14 shifts per month, with preference for those available for multiple consecutive shifts, including weekends.

• Patient Volume:

  • 3050 patients per shift.

• Support Staff:

  • Medical assistants, scribes, and radiology technicians available on-site.

  • Fully equipped urgent care facilities with lab and mobile X-ray capabilities.

• Technology:

  • EMR system:
    Epic (training provided; must adapt quickly).

• Credentialing:

  • Estimated timeframe: 90120 days.

• Requirements:

  • Proof of 50 patient encounters in the last 12 months relevant to privileges requested.
  • Residency training in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds.
