We are seeking a qualified Gastroenterologist for a locum tenens position in Missouri, with a primary location near Archie. • Duration: 13-week contract with the potential for extension
• Number of Positions Available: 3
• Schedule:
  • 24/7 call coverage and daily hospital services
  • On-site hospital presence of approximately 8 hours per day
  • Standard shift begins around 7:00 am, with flexibility in start time

• Primary Duties:
  • Provide inpatient consultations and necessary procedures
  • Address daily consults and handle night call/call-backs
  • Support staff includes Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) for rounding assistance
• Patient Demographic:
  Adults and geriatrics, ages 18+
  • Note:
    No pediatric patients
• Procedures:
  • Inpatient consults and procedures
  • ERCP training is preferred but not required

• Setting:
  Acute care hospital, closed ICU
• Support Services:
  • Interventional radiology
  • Colorectal surgery support
• Patient Volume:
  • Approximately 700 procedures monthly (inpatient/outpatient)
  • Average of 200 consults per month
• Documentation System:
  Cerner EMR experience preferred

• Licensure:
  Active Missouri state license required (IMLC not accepted)
• Board Certification:
  Gastroenterology - required
• DEA Certification:
  Required
• COVID-19 Vaccine:
  Required (medical exemptions only)
• Flu Vaccine:
  Facility requirement unknown

• Orientation: 12 hours (non-billable)
• Privileges: 90 days for privileging process
• Travel:
  Reimbursable
