We are seeking a Locum Tenens Physician specializing in Internal Medicine - Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine for an ongoing opportunity near Purdy, Missouri . December 16, 2024, with the possibility for ongoing coverage. Location :
Near Purdy, Missouri. Schedule :
Shifts will vary between 7 AM - 7 PM and 9 AM - 9 PM. Shifts Available :
Approximately 10 shifts per month, organized in 3-5 day stretches.
Position Responsibilities:
Manage and treat a patient load of approximately 10 patients per shift in an inpatient setting. Provide expert care in both Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine . Handle admissions and offer consults as needed.
Qualifications:
Board Certification in Internal Medicine with specialization in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine is required. Must hold a valid Missouri state medical license . Required certifications include BLS , ACLS , PALS , ATLS , and ABLS . Facility Details:
Inpatient-focused role, with no outpatient care required. Epic EMR system is used. No hospital privileges required, but the credentialing process may take 60-90 days . No requirement for supervising advanced practice providers or residents. Benefits:
