Are you a dedicated OB Hospitalist seeking an engaging opportunity to make a meaningful impact in patient care? We are seeking a highly qualified Locum Physician to provide exceptional obstetric and gynecologic services, ensuring the well-being of our patients and supporting our healthcare team in Osage Beach, MO.

In this vital position, you will handle approximately 13 or more patient encounters daily, including OB triage, unassigned gynecological emergencies, and deliveries. You will also oversee care for hospital-employed Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) and Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs). The role requires proficiency in Meditech Expanse EMR, and includes responsibilities such as clinic work, on-call duties, and emergency response, within a MHAS site environment.

Required Skills:

• Valid and current medical license to practice in Missouri
• Board-certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology or Family Medicine with OB
• Proven experience in obstetric and gynecological care
• Strong patient management skills and clinical judgment
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Competence in EMR systems, specifically Meditech Expanse

Nice to Have

Skills:

• Experience with hospital-based OB/GYN practices
• Prior experience covering obstetric triage and emergency deliveries
• Ability to manage unassigned gynecological emergencies independently
• Bilingual abilities

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of a residency in OB-GYN or Family Medicine with OB
• At least 2 years of hospital-based obstetric practice
• Current ACLS, BLS certifications

Other Requirements:

• Availability to start on or before December 31, 2025
• Flexible schedule to accommodate call and on-call shifts
• Willingness to travel as needed within the hospital system
• Certification in Missouri state medical licensing and hospital privileges
