Nevada, MoAbout the Position Establish and expand neurology services within a rural healthcare setting Provide primarily outpatient care with flexible clinic scheduling Evaluate and manage a wide range of neurological conditions, including headaches, stroke follow-up, neuropathy, seizure disorders, movement disorders, and cognitive conditions Perform EMG services Provide limited inpatient consults as needed Build long-term patient relationships while improving access to specialty care Practice Environment Practice within a 71-bed rural hospital with an established referral network Emergency department averaging approximately 30 patients per day Significant community need with limited local neurology access Opportunity for autonomy and leadership in program development Supportive, collaborative medical staff and administrative leadership Clinical Support & Resources Access to advanced imaging services Collaboration with primary care providers and hospitalist teams On-call specialty support available (not continuous) Established transfer relationships for higher-acuity neurological cases Administrative support for service line growth Qualifications MD or DO eligible for Missouri medical licensure Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology Eligible for hospital medical staff privileges Interest in rural medicine and program development preferred Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary aligned with rural specialty practice Relocation assistance available Eligible for HRSA loan repayment Malpractice insurance provided CME allowance and professional development support Location & Lifestyle Rural community offering a slower-paced lifestyle and strong sense of community Opportunity to make a meaningful impact by improving access to neurological care Ideal for physicians seeking autonomy, balance, and community engagement
