This facility in Missouri requires cardiothoracic surgery coverage following the departure of a full-time staff member. The medical center provides inpatient and operating room services and maintains established clinical infrastructure to support quality patient care delivery throughout each assigned coverage period. On-site resources are in place to facilitate coordinated care for the cardiothoracic surgery service line.

Missouri offers a range of family-oriented and outdoor activities suited to varied interests. State parks provide access to biking, birding, fishing, rock climbing, paddling, and wildlife watching, with options available across skill levels. Additional activities include trampoline parks, escape rooms, bowling alleys, arts and crafts studios, science museums, camping, and neighborhood-based pursuits such as scavenger hunts and nature walks.

Clinicians will provide cardiothoracic surgery coverage across inpatient and operating room settings on a night shift and 24-hour call basis, working a Monday-to-Monday rotation every other week. Clinical responsibilities include first assisting, inpatient rounding, and cardiothoracic surgical procedures as required throughout each assigned coverage period. All clinical documentation must be maintained through the EPIC EMR system. Prescriptive authority is required as a condition of this on-site assignment.
