Active MO or IMLC - Certifications:
BLS - Experience:
Residency trained; BC/BE within 5 yrs of residency; minimum 50 patient encounters in last 12 months - Other
Qualifications:
EMR proficiency (Epic preferred), comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints), reading EKGs and X-rays. - Willing to work 12-hr shifts
- Provide urgent care services to patients of all ages presenting with minor injuries and illnesses.
- Perform minor procedures including suturing, wound care, incision and drainage, splinting, and casting.
- Interpret diagnostic studies such as X-rays and EKGs.
- Work collaboratively with medical assistants, radiology technicians, and other support staff.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Epic EMR system.
